Automated Office Systems is founded and markets the CPT System, a state of the art word processor. AOS hires three employees, including the founder and owner Jack Lutgen.

Automated Office Systems moves to a larger facility and hires additional staff. AOS acquires the Canon line of business machines - the premier in office technology. Automated Office Systems gets driven to new heights by providing excellent sales and service to their customers.

Automated Office Systems purchases and moves into its current location on 6th Avenue North in Billings to accommodate its growth. Besides the main building, which houses sales, service, and administrative staff. AOS has an on site 5000+ square foot warehouse for inventory and refurbished equipment for sale.

Automated Office Systems employs a total of 14 people and has expanded its line to include HP printers.

Automated Office Systems expands its office and opens the Resource Center. The Resource Center is an additional facility for in house training and in depth demonstration of the total Canon product line.

Automated Office Systems showroom has leading edge technology products on display. Ecopy scan station, imageRunner 5000i with image anywhere technology and MEAP, Java enabled custom application copier technology.

Automated Office Systems becomes a provider of Martin Yale products which includes advanced shredding and paper folding technology.

Automated Office Systems sells its first imageRunner Advance. The C5000 series is the first of the next generation of Canon copiers or MFDs -Multifunctional Devices- to be brought to the market. The Canon imageRunner ADVANCE series introduces a complete redesign of the engine, and operation software that offers an easier user experience with more efficient workflows.
